What are psychometric assessments?
This is an online platform. You will undertake a series of psychometric aptitude assessments of verbal, numerical, abstract, spatial and mechanical ability plus both Aspirations and Personality Type questionnaires.
This objectively identifies personal strengths and talents both academic, practical and will recommend career options related to your strengths.
The aptitude assessments will help you to identify the direction of your abilities which will help you when you are making decisions about your future career and course options.
Undertaking psychometric assessments is a good way if you feel unsure of your career direction as it will recommend other careers you may not have considered and get you thinking about other careers related to your strengths.
How long does it take?
The assessments are taken under exam conditions and candidates will be expected to work quietly as if taking a formal examination. You will need a quiet space with no interruptions and a good connection to the internet.
The session will last approximately 1 hour and forty minutes (100 minutes) during which time candidates will be occupied continuously.
What support will I receive?
We will support you through the process from the moment you decide to go ahead. We will set up your login and give you your password details. We will go through with you the instructions and all the things you need to know in order for you to perform at your best. We will give you the opportunity to do some practice questions before you start on the actual assessments.
Outcomes
On completing the assessment, you will then receive a comprehensive individually tailored report detailing ten possible career options related to your strengths after seven to ten days of completing the assessments. We will then go through the report with you to discuss your career recommendations and then help you put an action plan together for you to follow up these career suggestions.
"Thank you so much Alistair! You've been wonderful. I feel it's a good decision also so I'm glad to hear that you agree! Of course, I will complete the feedback survey right away. Thank you again for everything!"
