One-on-one sessions with a careers adviser will help those being made redundant develop a personalised job search strategy
It will also support them in dealing with the emotional aspects of job loss and building confidence.
Skills Assessment and Development
I help clients identify their transferable skills and areas for skills development
I help clients identify where they can continue their education, training, gain additional skills, qualifications and find appropriate certificated training programmes.
Job Search Support
I help people to identify their transferable skills and match their skills to identifying other possible careers.
I encourage all jobseekers to widen their job search and introduce them to a wide range of places where they can look for work. Part of their job search support can be having an effective LinkedIn Profile.

I give candidates the theory of how to prepare and succeed at interview and how to structure your responses.
I offer interview practice sessions to improve performance
I give feedback and tips on how to handle different types of interview format questions and how they can formulate their answers
I offer a range of workshops and seminars on a range of topics such as job search, CV writing, networking strategies and personal branding
Emotional and psychological support
I work in partnership with counselling services and believe careers advice and counselling work very well together.
Benefits
We offer a range of packages for both organisations and individuals.
For Organisations
Those offering outplacement services can help their organisation to maintain a positive reputation. Individuals who ‘survive’ a redundancy programme will see that those who are being let go are being looked after in difficult times. This will help improve morale of the remaining employees. It will also free up HR time to focus on running the business. I offer a range of careers and outplacement packages for those being made redundant.
For individuals
These services provide essential support during challenging transitions. They enhance your chances of moving forward more quickly in securing their next role.
